KBSA is the only accredited training centre for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race outside of the UK.
KBSA will provide Part A and B of the Clipper training in Singapore.

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a biennial race that gives ordinary people the
chance to race state-of-the-art ocean-racing yachts around the world. Clipper crew come from
all walks of life, and receive full training before taking part in the challenge of a lifetime.

Part A
This intensive 8-day course introduces the
complete novice sailor to life at sea,
including
all aspects of personal safety, seamanship
and helmsmanship skills necessary to become
a useful crew member on board a large racing yacht.
This course is mandatory for anyone
who aspires to race around the world.
On successful completion of this course,
you will be awarded the RYA competent
Crew Certificate.
Part B
With emphasis on preparation, briefing
and teamwork, this part of the training will
transform a competent crew member into a safe,
efficient racing sailor. This exciting 8-day course will introduce all aspects
of racing on board an ocean going yacht.
This is a unique module which will enable you to further develop your sailing skills and learn how to be a competent member of a racing crew.
